Games, tickle tasks, using feet to squish or pick up items are all wonderful activities to grow body awareness, address sensory issues, strengthen and increase range of motion (ROM) with lower extremities. Don’t for get to stomp out rhythms (elderly can even do this between parrellel bars) for coordination and auditory processing skills.
OPTIONS: Place mat or carpet on ground over top of items and walk on it, do various sports ladder exercises, hop scotch, tip toe, yoga, tai chi, sports, and picking up fuzz balls or marbles with your feet.
