Candy Corn Cut & Paste is wonderful for increasing tolerance for fine motor table top tasks, following directions, and visual-motor skills. Pre-K kids can complete it in 1 sitting and it is not overwhelming.
SUPPLIES: Black construction paper, white crayon or white pencil, glue stick, scissors, and white, yellow, and orange paper strips.
DIRECTIONS: 1. Draw a triangle shape with rounded corners.
2. Let kids cut paper strips into squares.
3. Paste one color into each section.
OPTIONS: You can also make this into a triangle shaped tree using green paper squares and 1 larger brown square for the trunk. To embellish it, just add red or pink blossoms (squares of red and pink).
