Build A Square

Build-A-Square is a wonderful way to build skills with the pre-writing client. Line awareness is the key here. Visual attention to lines and understanding them along with visual-motor skills make this a solid task.
OPTIONS: You can have colored paper strips that are parts of letters or other basic shapes such as an oval. Kids can also write inside the box or shape that they make. Hang circles or squares from tree branches. Let’s face it, colorful shapes are lots of fun!
We have added some extra pictures to get your creativity rolling! Such as writing on birds or within a cut out shape.
How are you supporting line awareness? Share your creations with the team!
