Happiness is a smile surrounded by color. Making a circle and square fun to explore and a shape worth remembering is important and is often an OT goal.
ST: You may choose to use this by finding items around the room that are shaped like a square, write them down around Mr. Square!
OT: Have older kids find square items or think of some and write them down around Mr. Square. See if you can make them giggle by telling them jokes for each time that they write another word down. Building fluid thinking is always to be celebrated. You can also build strength and awareness by having kids glue the squares onto Mr. Square with him taped up under the table. You choose!
