These shape mazes are a wonderful way to help kids and brain injured adults work on cutting skills.
ST: They can easily be adapted to develop articulation skills by saying words starting with the shape letter. You may also have clients call out items that have a similar shape.
OT: Other skill-building angles on this task include color by following directions such as place diagonal stripes on the square or color it red. You may have clients look around the room and locate an item that has a similar shape as the one they cut or drew to.
