Stencils are wonderful tools to improve fine motor control, digital strength, while providing some proprioception.
OPTIONS: To emphasize upper body strengthening, have client do it on a wall rather than using a table top.
PT: Have client place paper on wall to do stenciling and have them use a balance pad, rocker board, or on toes to complete task.
ST: Have clients trace the letters that they say or pronounce in a word or sentence. This may be more effective at standing level.
