Paper Plate Owl & Hedge Hog

Paper plate crafts are wonderful for folding, cutting, and color/painting skills.
Owl SUPPLIES: Markers, orange paper, scissors, stapler
DIRECTIONS: 1. Draw your chest feathers across the center of the plate. 2. Fold the two wing sides of the plate and simultaneously tuck in the very top of the fold to allow it to fold over (see pictures). 3. Color wings (Great for wrist movement). 4. Staple the top fold of the plate. 5. Cut out feet and eyes and glue them on to the owl body.
Hedge Hog SUPPLIES: 1 lightweight paper plate, black marker and scissors. See video for instructions.
These activities moves along quickly so that you have time to write or talk about your owl or hedge hog.
