Letter Case/Matching Cards With Yarn

This tool can be individualized very easily. Clients stay attended due to the sensory input of the string and they enjoy moving the string/yarn.
Variatons may include; matching to pictures that relate to each other ( political figures, tree to apple, dog to puppy, sad face to happy face, …), color or shape matching, math multiple choice, family names or pictures, as well as articulation and social communication tasks. You may also use it for a simple Yes and No by attaching yarn in the middle so that client can select ‘Yes’ to one side or ‘No’ to the other.
Supplies needed:
–cardboard or file folder
–piece of yarn
–piece of hook side of velcro (sticky side attaches it to the board).
–Marker to make letters or pictures of community signs, etc.
