Kids especially love to be part of creating the obstacle course. They can cut and color elements to be put into the course. This activity can work on several different skills such as; visual-motor, visual-perceptual, and asymmetrical bilateral integration.
TIPS: If you need to color these fast, use the side of a crayon or oil pastel. You may consider using sequins, spangles, or sand for added sensory input.
BTW You can put sand and spangles thru the laminator.
Why not share what obstacle courses you are doing on our Brilliant Therapy facebook page? Together we are better!
